On Saturday at Trumper Park, our Eastern Suburbs 3rd beat Fairfield-Liverpool 3rd to make it four wins in a row.
Our innings: 4/156 and 5/120. Fairfield-Liverpool 3rd's: 41 and 232. A classy 75 off 73 balls from Ryan OBeirne was the highlight. OBeirne made a brilliant 52 off 47 balls, a well-made fifty.
Julian Baggett was the hero with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul (five for 49). James Hooke backed up well, taking three for 7. The visitors' best was a half-century from Neel Rai, who made 68.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Great work, everyone.
