It was a tough day out for our Eastern Suburbs 3rd, who were edged out by Manly Warringah 3rd on a day to learn from.
First up, we made 5/148 from 20 overs. Henry Pike top-scored with 33 off 25 balls. Tom Blackwell weighed in with 30 off 19 balls.
In reply, Manly Warringah 3rd passed our total, finishing on 8/149 in 19.5 overs. Axel Karlsson-Lacy was the main threat for our opponents, making 48. Matthew Jones was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 21 off four overs.
