In NSW Premier Cricket (Men's), our Eastern Suburbs 3rd were denied by St George 3rd on Saturday at Harold Fraser Reserve.
Our totals were 9/235, against St George 3rd's 9/243. Alfie Haxton's 116 off 156 balls was a century to savour. Sahil Singh Pathania bowled cleverly for our opponents, a six-wicket haul of six for 53.
Hugo Cooper-Fogarty was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 59 off 23 overs. Tom Blackwell added two for 13. Keiran Beadon made a polished 61 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
Plenty to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
