There were smiles all round after our Eastern Suburbs 3rd prevailed over Sydney 3rd with a performance to be proud of.
Over the course of the match we totalled 8/258, and Sydney 3rd 171 and 8/92. Hugh Cranendonk was the pick of our batters with 42 off 55 balls. Nicholas Taylor played a handy knock of 41. Ben Doyle did the damage for our opponents with three for 59.
Our best with the ball was Everett Oxenham, who took four for 20. Oxenham finished with three for 32. The best of the visitors' batters was Avijay Maharaj with 43.
