It was a good day out for our Eastern Suburbs CC, who had the measure of Burwood Briars Academy for a great result.
Batting first, we posted 4/244 from 40 overs. Ayaan Hafiz brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 84 off 88 balls. Ryan sharma brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 75 off 71 balls.
Our bowlers kept Burwood Briars Academy to 4/128 from 40 overs in reply. For our opponents, Angadjot Singh made 45 off 75 balls. Max Arandt starred with the ball, taking two for 19.
The runs on the board proved more than enough. Two wins on the trot now for the group.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Eastern Suburbs.
