On Sunday, our Eastern Suburbs Kingsgrove Sports Poidevin-Gray Shield fell to St George on a frustrating day.
St George batted first and put 2/171 on the board from 20 overs. Ed Anderson was 49 not out for our opponents.
In reply, we finished on 8/137 from 20 overs. James Moore brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 60 off 51 balls. Sam Newton bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 32.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
