On Saturday at Joe McAleer, our Eastern Suburbs Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20 saw off Blacktown T20 thanks to Jake Winter's 58.
First up, we made 6/168 from 20 overs. Jake Winter passed fifty on the way to 58 off 39 balls with one four and four sixes. James Moore brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 50 off 45 balls. Hayden Fox bowled well for Blacktown T20, taking four for 28.
Our bowlers kept the hosts to 9/111 from 20 overs in reply. Puru Gaur was the top scorer for our opponents with 35. Marcus Atallah tore through the batting order, taking five for 25.
A well-deserved win for the boys.
Onwards and upwards.
