It was a day to regroup for our Eastern Suburbs Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20, who lost out to Parramatta in a disappointing result.
Batting first, we posted 8/169 from 20 overs. Matthew Moran posted a half-century, making 81 off 50 balls with seven fours and four sixes.
Parramatta knocked off the runs, finishing on 7/174 in 19.3 overs. Nick Bertus posted 72 for our opponents, a classy fifty. Akshay Prasan led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 24.
Credit to the visitors, who played well. It's two defeats on the trot, and the side will be eager to bounce back.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
