It was smiles all round as our Eastern Suburbs 2nd emerged victorious against Blacktown 2nd on Saturday in NSW Premier Cricket (Men's).
We batted first and put 2/184 on the board from 20 overs. Johnny Connell posted a half-century, making 66 off 43 balls with eight fours and two sixes. Henry Pike's 53 off 43 balls was a half-century to remember. Ben Bryant remained unbeaten with 36 off 27 balls.
In reply, Blacktown 2nd finished on 7/119 from 20 overs. Our opponents' best with the bat was Arney Kadaganchi, who made 45. Sam Greenland starred with the ball, taking two for 17.
Congratulations to all involved.
