There was plenty to celebrate as our Eastern Suburbs 5th took the honours against UNSW 5th in a fine team performance.
UNSW 5th made 130 and 3/91, and we made 10/171. Leading the way was Hamish Stening with 46 off 66 balls. Proteet Foisol provided good support with 45. Harry Askey returned three for 34 for the visitors.
Our best with the ball was Stening, who took four for 32. Charlie Tink batted well for our opponents, making 48 off 148 balls.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. Well done to everyone involved.
