Good news from our Eastern Suburbs 5th, who were too good for Gordon 5th with Ashton Musgrave leading the way.
First up, we made 9/267 from 50 overs. Ashton Musgrave passed fifty on the way to 75 off 73 balls with seven fours and four sixes. William Powell brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 71 off 97 balls. Keegan Daly weighed in with 45 off 42 balls.
Gordon 5th were all out for 148 in 40.5 overs in reply. Jaeden Douglas made a stylish 57 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Hamish Stening picked up four for 13 off 5.5 overs.
Bowling the visitors out proved decisive. That's back-to-back wins for the group.
Congratulations to all involved.
