At Snape Oval (Turf), our Eastern Suburbs 5th were unable to get the better of Parramatta Fifth Grade at home.
First up, we made 183 from 48.4 overs. Ashbi Singh made a valuable 49 off 50 balls. William Powell played a handy knock of 40. Luke Ward bowled well for Parramatta Fifth Grade, taking three for 50.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 3/184 in 38 overs. Credit to Nicholas Bateup, who made a half-century (70) for the visitors. Aryan Ambardar passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 54.
There were some good individual efforts to build on.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it. Congratulations to the visitors on the win.
