It wasn't to be for our Eastern Suburbs Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20, who went under to Manly Warringah in Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup & Kingsgrove Sports Poidevin-Gray Shield action.
After batting first, we finished on 5/193 from 20 overs. Fifty for Jake Winter, who finished with 95 not out off 54 balls. Johnny Connell played a handy knock of 41.
In reply, Manly Warringah passed our total, finishing on 2/196 in 17.2 overs. Joel Davies passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 60 not out. Marcus Atallah grabbed two for 45.
It's three defeats on the trot, and the side will be eager to bounce back.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
