There was plenty to celebrate as our Eastern Suburbs Poidevin-Gray Shield overcame Mosman in a pleasing performance.
Mosman batted first and put 9/224 on the board from 50 overs. For our opponents, archie Vaughan made 47 off 86 balls. The wickets were shared around, with Gabriel Quoyle taking three for 33.
In reply, the group reached the target at 6/226 in 43 overs. Trystan Kennedy's 64 off 69 balls was a half-century to remember. Ollie Hunt's 64 not out off 65 balls was a half-century to remember. Fifty for James Moore, who finished with 57 off 79 balls. Cooper Johnston bowled well for the visitors, taking four for 32.
It was an excellent all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. We've now won three in a row.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Eastern Suburbs.
